Description / Surgical Specialties G496N - PolySyn™ Suture with Needle - 1/Box
The PolySyn suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body gradually absorbs over time. It is made of braided polyglycolic acid and comes attached to a PS-2 precision reverse cutting needle. It is made by Surgical Specialties and is sold by the box.
- Extremely smooth, low-friction synthetic absorbable suture
- Strength retention of 50% at 2 weeks and 20% at 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 50 to 90 days
- Proprietary coating reduces tissue drag
- Suture material: polyglycolic acid, coated
