Description / Surgical Specialties 423B - PolySyn™ Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The PolySyn suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body gradually absorbs, made of braided polyglycolic acid. It is a smooth, low friction synthetic suture with a coating and a stainless steel reverse cutting needle. It is sterile and sold by the box.
- Extraordinarily smooth, low friction synthetic absorbable suture
- Strength retention is 50% at 2 weeks and 20% at 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 50 to 90 days
- Proprietary coating reduces tissue drag
- Polyglycolic acid, braided, 12-strand construction
- Size 3-0, 27 inch suture, undyed
