Description / Surgical Specialties 443B - PolySyn™ Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The PolySyn suture with needle is an absorbable suture, meaning the body absorbs it over time. It is a braided polyglycolic acid suture, size 2-0, paired with a C-7 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle. It comes sterile and undyed, with a coating on the suture.
- Extremely smooth, low-friction synthetic absorbable suture
- Strength retention: 50% at 2 weeks and 20% at 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 50 to 90 days
- Proprietary coating reduces tissue drag
- Polyglycolic acid suture material, braided, 12-strand, coated
- Size 2-0, 27 inch suture, undyed
- C-7 needle: 3/8 circle, reverse cutting, stainless steel, 24 mm needle length
