The Surgical Specialties PolySyn suture with needle is a synthetic absorbable suture, one the body absorbs over time. It is a braided, coated polyglycolic acid suture paired with a stainless steel reverse cutting needle. It is made for facilities that need exact suture and needle specifications.
- Extremely smooth, low-friction synthetic absorbable suture
- Strength retention is 50% at 2 weeks and 20% at 3 weeks
- Complete mass absorption in 50 to 90 days
- Proprietary coating reduces tissue drag
- Suture material: polyglycolic acid, braided, 12-strand, coated
- Suture size 3-0, 27 inch length, undyed
- Needle: C-7, 3/8 circle, reverse cutting, stainless steel, 24 mm long
- One needle per suture
