Description / Surgical Specialties Y496N - Monoderm™ Suture with Needle - 1/Box
The Surgical Specialties Monoderm suture with needle is a synthetic absorbable monofilament, a single-strand suture that the body absorbs over time. It is made of polyglycolic acid / PCL and comes with a stainless steel needle attached. Its pliability and handling make it a common choice for subcuticular closure and soft tissue approximation.

- Tensile strength retained: 64 - 76% at 7 days, 40% at 14 days; essentially absorbed at 90 days
