Description / Surgical Specialties Y463N - Monoderm™ Suture with Needle - 1/Box
The Surgical Specialties Monoderm suture with needle is a synthetic absorbable monofilament, meaning a single-strand thread that the body absorbs over time. It is made of Polyglycolic Acid / PCL and comes sterile with one attached stainless steel needle. It is used for subcuticular closure and soft tissue approximation.

- Retains 64 - 76% tensile strength at 7 days and 40% at 14 days, and is essentially absorbed at 90 days
