The DermaRite Bordered Gauze dressing is an island dressing, a gauze pad centered on an adhesive border. It comes sterile and individually packaged, so each dressing is ready to use. It is made for wounds with minimal to moderate exudate, the fluid a wound gives off.
- Three layers: a low adherent layer sits against the wound surface, an absorbent gauze layer manages exudate, and a nonwoven adhesive border holds the dressing in place
- Sterile and individually packaged, so each dressing is ready for immediate use
