The DermaRite Bordered Gauze dressing is an island dressing, a pad of gauze set in the center of an adhesive border. It is sterile, individually packaged and square, at 2 x 2 inches. It is made for acute or chronic partial and full-thickness wounds or ulcers with minimal to moderate exudate (fluid from the wound).
- Three-layer dressing: a low adherent layer sits against the wound surface, an absorbent gauze layer manages exudate, and a nonwoven adhesive border holds the dressing in place
- Sterile and individually packaged, so each dressing is ready to use right away
- Soft and flexible, so it conforms to wound sites that are difficult to dress
- Designed to be gentle on skin and to minimize irritation, for sensitive skin and daily use
