The DermaRite Bordered Gauze dressing is an island dressing, a gauze pad surrounded by an adhesive border that holds it in place. It is sterile, individually packaged and ready to use. It is used on acute or chronic partial and full-thickness wounds or ulcers with minimal to moderate exudate, which is wound fluid.
- Three-layer dressing: a low adherent layer sits against the wound surface, an absorbent gauze layer manages exudate, and a nonwoven adhesive border holds the dressing in place
- Sterile and individually packaged, so each dressing is ready for immediate use
- Soft and flexible, made to conform to hard-to-dress wound sites
- Designed to minimize skin irritation and suited to sensitive skin and daily use
