The DermaRite Bordered Gauze adhesive dressing is an island dressing, a gauze pad set in the center of an adhesive border. It measures 6 x 6 inches and is square. It is made for acute or chronic wounds with minimal to moderate exudate (fluid from the wound), and can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
- Three layers: a low adherent layer, absorbent gauze and nonwoven adhesive tape
- Soft and flexible, so it conforms to difficult wound sites for a comfortable, secure fit
- Nonlinting gauze, designed to be gentle and nonirritating for daily use
- Helps create a moist wound environment
