The DermaRite Bordered Gauze Island Dressing is a sterile gauze dressing with an adhesive border around the pad, known as an island dressing. It measures 6 x 6 inches and is square. It is made for wounds with minimal to moderate exudate, meaning fluid from the wound.
- Three layers: a low adherent layer sits against the wound surface, an absorbent gauze layer manages exudate, and a nonwoven adhesive border holds the dressing in place
- Sterile and individually packaged, so each dressing is ready to use when you open it
- Soft and flexible, so it conforms to wound sites that are difficult to dress
- Designed to minimize skin irritation and suitable for sensitive skin and daily use
- Intended for acute or chronic partial and full-thickness wounds or ulcers with minimal to moderate exudate
