Description / Covidien SP-5699G - Surgipro™ II Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The Covidien Surgipro II suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, one that is not broken down by the body. It is a sterile, blue polypropylene monofilament paired with a 13 mm precision reverse cutting needle. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
- Inert, non-absorbable, sterile suture made from an isotactic, crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, and it contains polyethylene
- Uncoated Surgipro II suture, available clear or pigmented
- Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological surgery
- NuCoat needle coating technology maintains needle sharpness over the duration of the procedure, for consistent penetration pass after pass
- Suture is pigmented blue to enhance visibility
- Suture material: polypropylene, monofilament, size 4-0
- Suture length: 18 inch
- Needle: P-13 precision reverse cutting needle, 3/8 circle, 13 mm long, alloy
- One needle per suture
