Description / Covidien SP-5697G - Surgipro™ II Suture with Needle - 12/Box
The Covidien Surgipro II suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, one that stays in place and is not broken down by the body. It is a sterile, blue polypropylene monofilament paired with a stainless steel precision reverse cutting needle. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation.
- Inert, non-absorbable, sterile suture made of an isotactic, crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, and it contains polyethylene
- Uncoated Surgipro II suture, available clear or pigmented; this one is pigmented blue to enhance visibility
- Indicated for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic and neurological surgery
- NuCoat needle coating technology maintains needle sharpness over the duration of the procedure, for consistent penetration pass after pass
- Suture type: monofilament, size 6-0, P-10 needle
- Needle: 1 stainless steel needle, 11 mm long, 3/8 circle, precision reverse cutting
- Suture length: 18 inch
