The Smith & Nephew Primapore adhesive dressing is an island dressing, with an absorbent pad set in the center of an adhesive border. It is a sterile, white, rectangular dressing that measures 2 x 3 Inch. The slit protector paper makes it quick to apply.
- Absorbent, low-adherent pad: a polyester contact layer lets blood or exudate pass into the highly absorbent pad
- Low allergy acrylic adhesive is spread evenly over the nonwoven backing for secure fixation over the wound site
- Soft and conformable, made to fit all wound sites, including harder areas such as shoulders and axillae
- Protector paper is slit across the width of the dressing, so you can apply it without touching the pad or adhesive area with fingers or forceps
- Thick pad limits fluid strike-through and helps shield the wound from trauma
- Size: 2 X 3 Inch, rectangle shape
