The Smith & Nephew Primapore white adhesive dressing is an island dressing, with an absorbent pad set in a soft adhesive border. It is used on sutured wounds. It is sterile and measures 4 x 13¾ inches.
- Absorbent pad combined with a soft, conformable fixative layer, made for simple management of sutured wounds
- Thick pad limits fluid strike-through and helps shield the wound from trauma
- Wound contact layer lets blood or exudate pass into the highly absorbent pad and is designed for gentle dressing removal
- Protector paper is slit across the width of the dressing, so you can apply it without touching the pad or adhesive area with fingers or forceps
- Soft, breathable cover
