Description / J & J Healthcare Systems CX27D - Ethibond™ Excel Suture with Needle - 12/Dozen, 12/Box
The Ethibond Excel suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, meaning it is not absorbed by the body. It is a coated, braided polyester suture paired with a 26 mm stainless steel taper point needle. It is supplied sterile and in green.
- Nonabsorbable braided polyester suture made from high molecular weight, long chain, linear polyesters
- Braided construction for optimal handling properties
- Highly adherent coating made from a relatively nonreactive, nonabsorbable compound
- The coating acts as a lubricant and improves handling compared with braided, uncoated fiber
- Suture size 0, 18 inch suture length
- CT-2 needle: 1/2 circle, taper point, 26 mm long
- Stainless steel needle, 1 needle per suture
