The Prolene suture with needle is a nonabsorbable monofilament suture, meaning it stays in place and does not break down. It is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. The blue polypropylene strand is 18 inches long and comes attached to a stainless steel needle.
- Nonabsorbable monofilament suture indicated for general soft tissue approximation (bringing tissue edges together) and ligation (tying off)
