The LOOK suture with C6 needle from Surgical Specialties is an absorbable suture, one that the body absorbs over time, made of chromic gut. It is a sterile, undyed, size 4-0 monofilament with one attached needle. The needle is a 3/8 circle reverse cutting type.
- Absorbable, undyed chromic gut suture, 27 inches long, with 1 needle attached
- 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle, listed by McKesson as 18 mm
- Made from first quality raw material, so catgut absorbs in a dependable, predictable way and has extremely high tensile strength
- Each strand is precision polished to a uniform diameter, which allows smooth and secure knotting
- Treated with a chromic salt solution
