The ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Advantage dressing is a silver Hydrofiber dressing, a primary dressing that sits directly on the wound bed. It is a sterile, non-adhesive rectangle with no border. It comes in a 4 x 5 inch size.
- Primary dressing with silver, made for use in chronic and acute wounds with varying exudate levels
- Combines two technologies in one dressing: Hydrofiber and Advantage silver formulation
- Hydrofiber technology absorbs wound fluid and forms a soft gel, keeping a moist wound environment
- Locks in exudate and bacteria within the dressing
- Micro-contours to the wound bed, which removes dead space
- Advantage technology is a formulation used with the ionic silver in the dressing
- Silver activity within the dressing lasts up to 7 days
