The ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Advantage dressing is a silver Hydrofiber dressing, a soft fiber dressing that holds wound fluid. It is a primary dressing, meaning it goes directly on the wound bed. It comes sterile in a 2 x 2 inch square.
- Primary dressing for chronic and acute wounds with varying exudate (wound fluid) levels
- Combines two technologies in one dressing: Hydrofiber and the Advantage silver formulation
- Hydrofiber absorbs wound fluid and forms a soft gel, keeping a moist wound environment
- Locks in exudate within the dressing
- Micro-contours to the wound bed, which leaves no dead space
- Advantage technology is a formulation used with the ionic silver in the dressing
- Designed to stay in place on the wound for up to 7 days
