The ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Advantage Silver Dressing is a sterile, square silver Hydrofiber dressing that measures 6 x 6 inches. It is a primary dressing, the layer placed directly on the wound, for chronic and acute wounds with varying exudate (wound fluid) levels. It is non-adhesive and has no border.
- Primary dressing for chronic and acute wounds with varying exudate levels
- Hydrofiber technology absorbs wound fluid and forms a soft gel, maintaining a moist wound environment
- Locks in exudate and bacteria within the dressing
- Micro-contours to the wound bed, which leaves no dead space between dressing and wound
- Advantage technology is a formulation used with the ionic silver in the dressing
