The ConvaTec Aquacel Ag Advantage silver dressing is a sterile Hydrofiber dressing, a fiber dressing that absorbs wound fluid and forms a soft gel. It is non-adhesive and has no border, so you secure it separately. It is sold by the each or by the box.
- Hydrofiber technology absorbs wound fluid and forms a soft gel that maintains a moist wound environment
- Locks in exudate (wound fluid) and bacteria within the dressing
- Micro-contours to the wound bed to eliminate dead space
- Advantage technology is a formulation that works with the ionic silver in the dressing
- Silver activity is sustained in the dressing for up to 7 days
