The 3M Adaptic oil emulsion impregnated dressing is a nonadherent wound dressing, one that is made not to stick to the wound. It is a sterile, square dressing that measures 3 x 3 inches. It is made of knitted cellulose acetate impregnated with a petrolatum emulsion.
- Knitted cellulose acetate is impregnated with a petrolatum emulsion, which lets exudate (wound fluid) pass easily through to the absorbent dressing
- Nonadherent design, made so the dressing does not stick to wounds
- Can be cut or trimmed without unraveling or shredding
