The ComfortFoam Border from Sion Brands LLC is a sterile foam dressing with a border, shaped for the sacral area. It has a polyurethane foam pad, a soft silicone adhesive and a waterproof backing. It is made for dressing changes that are comfortable and for wear during daily activities.
- Soft silicone layer adheres gently to skin and does not stick to the wound, which makes dressing changes easy and comfortable
- Polyurethane foam pad absorbs exudate (wound fluid) to help keep the wearer dry and comfortable
- Low-profile border adds adhesion and flexibility, and the dressing conforms to body contours
- Showerproof design: the moisture-proof outer film keeps exudate from leaking during showers and daily activities
- Supports a moist wound environment and is used on pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers and traumatic wounds
