The McKesson Alginate Dressing is a sterile calcium alginate dressing, a soft absorbent pad made from seaweed-derived fiber, that measures 4 x 8 inches. It is a highly absorptive, nonocclusive dressing. It can be used to fill or pack the dead space in a wound.
- Gelling profile is designed so the dressing does not stick to the wound bed and keeps its physical integrity, so it can be removed from the wound in one piece
- Highly absorptive and nonocclusive

- Absorbs moderate to heavy amounts of wound exudate (drainage)
