Description / J & J Healthcare Systems VR493 - Coated Vicryl™ Rapide Suture with Needle - 12/Dozen, 12/Box
The Vicryl Rapide coated suture with needle is an absorbable suture, one the body absorbs over time so it does not need to be removed. It is made from braided polyglactin 910 and comes with a 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle. It is indicated for superficial soft tissue approximation of the skin and mucosa.
- Indicated for superficial soft tissue approximation of the skin and mucosa where only short-term wound support of 7 to 10 days is needed
- Initial strength comparable to that of Nylon and Gut
- Lower tissue reaction than chromic gut suture
- The fastest-absorbing synthetic suture
- Absorbable suture with needle, coated Vicryl Rapide
