The Perma-Hand suture with needle is a nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture, meaning it is not broken down by the body. It is made of braided black silk, an organic protein, and comes double-armed with a stainless steel reverse cutting needle at each end. Surgical offices and clinics can check every spec below.
