The Perma-Hand suture with needle is a nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture made of silk, an organic protein. It is a braided, coated suture in size 6-0 with a stainless steel spatula needle on each end. It is made by J & J Healthcare Systems for surgical and clinical settings that need a nonabsorbable suture.
