The Perma-Hand suture with needle is a nonabsorbable sterile surgical suture, meaning it is not broken down by the body. It is made of silk, an organic protein, and comes attached to a P-1 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle. It is made by J & J Healthcare Systems.
