The J & J Healthcare Systems Perma-Hand suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, meaning it is not broken down by the body. It is made of braided silk and comes sterile with one stainless steel needle attached. Model 683G is a size 4-0 suture.
- Nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture made from an organic protein (silk)
- Processed to remove the natural waxes and gums found in raw silk
- Coated with a special wax mixture
- Processed for optimum handling and knot security without excess capillarity
- Braided silk suture, 12-strand construction
- Size 4-0, black, 18 inch suture length
- FS-2 needle: reverse cutting, 3/8 circle, 19 mm long, stainless steel
