The Ethilon suture with needle is a nonabsorbable monofilament suture, meaning a single-strand thread that the body does not absorb. It is made of nylon and comes attached to a stainless steel precision reverse cutting needle. It is sold sterile and is intended for facility and clinical wound closure supply.
