Description / BD LH-0037 - SafeStep® Huber Infusion Set - 1/Each, 25/Case
The BD SafeStep Huber infusion set is used to access an implanted subcutaneous port. It pairs a right angle Huber needle, one that does not core the port septum, with a safety clip and an extension set. The needle is 20 gauge and 1/2 inch long.
- Right angle non-coring Huber needle with a passive safety mechanism clip, hub grip and base plate
- Extension set is DEHP-free and has an on-off clamp
- Color-coded female luer lock connector
- Intended to provide access to an implanted subcutaneous port
- Used with IV administration of chemotherapy and other injectable drugs, and/or to withdraw blood
- Sold under the Surecan Safety Huber Needle name in the manufacturer's description
