The BD SafeStep Huber infusion set is a sterile set built around a right angle, non-coring Huber needle, the type of needle used to access an implanted subcutaneous port. The needle is 20 gauge and 3/4 inch long. A passive safety mechanism clip is part of the design.

- Hub grip and base plate are part of the needle design
- DEHP-free extension set with an on-off clamp
- Color-coded female luer lock connector
- Intended to provide implanted subcutaneous port access
