Description / BD LH-0035 - SafeStep® Huber Infusion Set - 1/Each, 25/Case
The BD SafeStep Huber infusion set is a needle set made for access to an implanted subcutaneous port, the kind placed under the skin. It uses a right angle, non-coring Huber needle with a safety clip that works on its own. The extension tubing has an on-off clamp and a Y-site port.
- 22 gauge, 1/2 inch needle with a Y-site port
- Surecan Safety Huber Needle, intended for access to an implanted subcutaneous port
- Used with IV administration of chemotherapy and other injectable drugs, and/or to withdraw blood
- Right angle, non-coring Huber needle
- Passive safety mechanism clip, plus a hub grip and a base plate
