The BD Saf-T-Intima closed IV catheter is a sterile catheter that comes with extension tubing and a Y adapter. It has a needle shielding device and flexible, textured wings for catheter control. The catheter is made of BD Vialon polyurethane biomaterial and is 22 gauge, 3/4 inch long.
