The BD Saf-T-Intima Peripheral Catheter System is a closed IV catheter, a catheter that comes with extension tubing and a Y adapter attached. This 24 gauge, 3/4 inch version is sterile and has a winged hub and a retracting needle safety feature.

- Flexible, textured wings give you control of the catheter and a broad base for a secure, low-profile tape down
- BD Vialon, a proprietary biomaterial, is used for the catheter
