The MiniONE low profile capsule button is a non-balloon gastrostomy tube kit from Applied Medical Technology Inc. A gastrostomy tube is a feeding tube placed through the abdomen. This kit is made for people who do not tolerate balloon buttons.
- Non-balloon design, so there is no balloon to fail and replacements are needed less often
- Capsule design is made for gentler insertion
- Button shaft is as narrow as a balloon button shaft, and the capsule is self-lubricating for easy insertion
- Pull-away tether is easy to use and releases the capsule to deploy the internal bolster
- For removal, a removal tool distends the bolster to a smaller profile
- Suited to people who do not tolerate balloon buttons
- Kit includes the device, bolus extension set, Y-port extension set, 10cc syringe, 35cc bolus syringe, removable T-handle, snap arm assembly and gauze
