The MiniONE low profile capsule button is a gastrostomy tube kit with no balloon. Its internal bolster is deployed from a capsule, so there is no balloon to fail. It is made for people who do not tolerate balloon buttons.
- No balloon to fail, so replacements occur less often
- The capsule design is made to reduce discomfort during insertion
- The button shaft is as narrow as a balloon button shaft, and the capsule is self-lubricating for easy insertion
- A pull-away tether is easy to use and releases the capsule to deploy the internal bolster
- For removal, a removal tool distends the bolster to a smaller profile
- Made for people who do not tolerate balloon buttons
- Kit includes the device, a bolus extension set, a Y-port extension set, a 10cc syringe, a 35cc bolus syringe, a removable T-handle, a snap arm assembly and gauze
