The Surgical Specialties suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture made of nylon, a polyamide. It is a monofilament suture, a single smooth strand, paired with a stainless steel 3/8 circle precision reverse cutting needle. It is supplied sterile.
- Precision manufacturing of the needle gives consistent strength and durability, pass after pass
- Non-reflective needle finish makes the needle easier to distinguish under bright surgical lights
- Monofilament nylon is a polyamide suture with characteristically high tensile strength
- Uniform smooth surface allows easy passage through tissue
- Designed to reduce tissue trauma and tissue ingrowth
