The LOOK suture with needle from Surgical Specialties is a nonabsorbable suture made of monofilament nylon, a type of polyamide. It is a sterile, uncoated, black suture, size 4-0, attached to a 3/8 circle reverse cutting needle. The smooth surface is made for easy passage through tissue.
