The 3M Scotchcast Quick Step Double Sided Felt splint is a padded, precut splint made of felt and fiberglass. It measures 4 x 30 inches, so there is no need to cut a length from a roll. Seams open on either side of the felt, so you can reach the fiberglass layers and trim the splint.
- Water-repellent design: water sheds off the splint, which helps keep the skin dry and reduces the risk of skin maceration (softening of skin from moisture)
- Seven-layer fiberglass interior: the layers conform better to the bends and curves of the body than a single unified layer
- Easy-open seams on both sides: the felt opens from either side for quick access to the fiberglass layers and trouble-free trimming
- Easy-to-open, easy-to-reseal packaging helps limit exposure to moisture, which causes product hardening and waste
