The 3M Scotchcast Quick Step Double Sided Felt splint is a padded, precut splint, a ready-to-use piece of casting material with felt on both sides. It measures 3 x 12 inches and is made of felt and fiberglass. Its seven-layer fiberglass interior is built to follow the bends and curves of the body.
- Water-repellent felt, so water sheds off the splint and helps keep the skin dry
- Designed to reduce the risk of skin maceration, the softening of skin that stays wet
- Seven-layer fiberglass interior, which conforms to the bends and curves of the body better than a single unified layer
- Easy-open seams on both sides: open the felt on either side for quick access to the fiberglass layers and simple trimming
- Easy-to-open, easy-to-reseal packaging that limits exposure to moisture, which causes product hardening and waste
