The DermaFilm hydrocolloid dressing is a thin dressing made of hydrocolloid and film, a gel-forming material on a film backing. It is a sterile, square 4 x 4 inch dressing with a border. It is used as a primary or secondary dressing on low exudating wounds.
- Gentle adhesive that sticks securely to the skin around the wound (periwound skin) and is made to minimize discomfort when removed
- Balanced moisture levels, with moisture vapor transmission through the dressing
- Made for prolonged wear, with comfort and mobility for the wearer
- Can be worn for several days, depending on wound condition and exudate levels
- Used as a primary or secondary dressing for low exudating wounds
- DermaFilm range includes high density, thin and extra thin options, plus shapes tailored for the sacrum and for heel and elbow areas
- Thin hydrocolloid dressing with border
