The DermaFilm hydrocolloid dressing is a thin dressing made of hydrocolloid and film, with a border. It is sterile and square, and measures 2 x 2 inch. A mild adhesive surface holds it to the skin around the wound.
- Mild adhesive surface sticks to the skin around the wound (peri-wound skin) and does not stick to the wound bed
- Made to support a moist wound environment and autolytic debridement, the body's own process of breaking down dead tissue
