The Molnlycke Mepitel One is a wound contact layer dressing, a thin layer that sits directly on the wound under a secondary dressing. It is a sterile, rectangular dressing made of silicone and mesh. It measures 6-4/5 x 10 inches.
- One-sided wound contact layer, so you can observe the wound without removing the dressing
- Safetac technology is made for new tissue and intact skin, so the wound stays undisturbed
- Open mesh structure lets exudate pass through into a secondary absorbent dressing
- Open mesh also allows the delivery of topical treatments
- Secondary dressings can be changed without disturbing the wound bed
- Can remain in place for up to 14 days
