The Covidien Valleylab REM Polyhesive patient return electrode is a split-style, corded return pad made for adult patients. It is for use with contact monitoring generators and includes the REM contact quality monitoring system. Facility buyers can check the cord length, type and user group below.
- Made with PolyHesive II hydrogel, a high-moisture conductive adhesive that lowers skin resistance
- The hydrogel stretches to fill in voids and irregularities
- Large surface area disperses current over a wide area, which minimizes heat buildup
- Acrylic adhesive improves the quality of pad contact
- The acrylic adhesive also forms a moisture barrier that reduces the potential for fluid invasion
