Description / J & J Healthcare Systems X424H - Ethibond™ Excel Suture with Needle - 36/Box
The Ethibond Excel suture with needle is a nonabsorbable suture, meaning it is not absorbed by the body. It is made of braided polyester and comes attached to a CT-1 stainless steel taper point needle. It is supplied sterile.
- Nonabsorbable braided polyester suture made from high molecular weight, long chain, linear polyesters
- Braided construction, made for optimal handling properties
- Highly adherent coating made from a relatively nonreactive, nonabsorbable compound
- The coating acts as a lubricant and improves handling compared with braided, uncoated fiber
- Coated suture, size 0
- Green suture, 30 inch length
