The Biopatch IV dressing from J & J Healthcare Systems is an antimicrobial catheter dressing, a foam protective disc that sits around a catheter site. It is sterile and absorbent, and it contains CHG (chlorhexidine gluconate). The 1-inch disc has a 7-mm center hole.
- Protective disc used with CHG for dialysis, drains, sheaths, Cordis and VAD drive lines
- 1-inch diameter disc with a 7-millimeter hole, sized for 13 to 20 Fr.
- Designed to release CHG continually over 7 days and provide 360° protection
