The Biopatch I.V. dressing is an antimicrobial catheter dressing, a protective foam disc that contains CHG (chlorhexidine gluconate). It is sterile and absorbent, with a 4 mm center hole. Facility buyers and home caregivers can check the size and hole diameter below before ordering.
- Protective disk used with CHG for dialysis, drains, sheaths, Cordis and VAD drive lines
- 1-inch diameter with a 4-millimeter center hole, sized for 6 to 12 Fr.
- Made to release CHG continually over 7 days, with 360° coverage around the site
