The Hemosure fecal occult blood test kit, also called an iFOB or FIT test, is a colorectal cancer screening test kit. It uses a stool sample and a visual read, so you read the result on the cassette yourself. Each box includes 30 tests, with a collection tube for each one.
- Qualitative, sandwich dye conjugate immunoassay for fecal occult blood
- Combines monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies to selectively identify human blood in feces, as an aid in diagnosis of fecal occult blood
- Described as having a high degree of sensitivity
- Detects elevated levels of human hemoglobin as low as 0.05 ugHb/ml in less than 5 minutes
- Positive results for high levels of hemoglobin can be seen as early as 1 or 2 minutes
- Kit contains 30 fecal occult blood test cassettes and 30 collection tubes
